The Honda Element replaced our Lexus RX300 SUV. It was beginning to have small problems and it was a pain to keep clean. The Element has a polyurethane floor and stain-resistant seats - perfect for carrying our dogs and taking snowboarding trips. The Element is nearly 11 inches shorter than the RX300, but it has slightly more interior room. This car is much more nimble and has a much smaller turning radius, making it easier to maneuver around town. The ride is obviously not as plush as the Lexus, but it's nice enough. The interior is much quieter than I would have thought given its boxy design - I'm quite impressed overall. This is strictly a utility vehicle and it does it's job well.

Pictured behind another Honda - the Blackbird has 5 more hp (165hp vs 160hp for the 4wd Element).
